WCFF supports women in commercial finance

A series of Women’s Commercial Finance Forum events have mobilised people from across the industry to increase the visibility of women and provide support within the growing sector. With a membership of more than 870, the WCFF is a community of finance brokers that connects women and peers from across the commercial finance landscape. WCFF series boosts visibility of women in commercial finance.

WCFF to hold events in Sydney, Melbourne

The Women’s Commercial Finance Forum is continuing to encourage and empower female brokers working in the finance sector. Two summits, to be held in Sydney and Melbourne over July and August, offer women the opportunity to collaborate, grow their network and learn about opportunities in commercial finance. The first will be held on July 21 at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney. A second summit will be held on August 04, 2022 at Leonda By The Yarra in Hawthorn, Melbourne.

Proportion of female brokers sinks to new low

At 25.5%, the proportion of female brokers has slipped to the lowest level on record, down 0.3 percentage points year-on-year, according to latest six-monthly figures provided by the MFAA. However, the share of mortgages written by brokers, the value of residential home loans settled and the number of brokers writing commercial loans all reached record highs.
